How to Make Weed Tea: Best DIY Cannabis Tea Recipe

Weed tea

We are here today to talk solely about the fine art of brewing the most epic pot of weed tea, so let’s jump right in.

Weed tea effects

As simple as it may sound, the only goal of making weed tea is to get cannabinoids (like THC and CBD) into your system.

If you make it right, weed tea tastes just like any other tea, however since it’s made with cannabis, it will give you the energy you need to get through rough mornings and take you to sleep after exhausting days.

Weed tea has double the effect when combined with some delicious and tasty weed cookies or weed brownies.

The effects of marijuana-infused tea generally manifest slowly.

People report that they usually start experiencing effects 30 to 60 minutes after drinking it.

However, this depends also on your metabolism, the potency of cannabis used to make the tea, your THC tolerance levels, and other factors.

How much THC is in weed tea?

If you want to measure the dosage of THC in a single cup, the math is pretty simple:

If you are using a strain with about 15% THC, one cup made using one gram of that cannabis strain will have about 150mg of THC.

As with any tea, the strength of the infusion will depend on how long you allow it to steep—longer equals stronger tea.

Adding honey, milk, lemon or other spices will not alter the chemical composition of cannabinoids, which means that it won’t affect your high.
